Conference Information

Welcome to our IATSO 2021 hybrid conference. Hybrid refers to its format that is onsite on the university campus Frankfurt, Germany, as well as virtual on this website. In this section you will find all organizational details for your conference participation, no matter if you are going to attend onsite or virtually.

On-Site Participant: If we can welcome you on-site in Frankfurt Germany, at the IATSO Conference, you will find all information about organizational details, Covid-19 regulations, registration, hotel and restaurant recommendations here. Due to the fast changing pandemic policies, we would kindly ask you to check for updates and regulations before the conference starts.

Virtual Participant: If we can welcome you virtually at the IATSO Conference, you will find all information about the website and technical requirements here. In order to give you a little insight of Frankfurt city, we also collected virtual city tours and other local recommendations that can be enjoyed online.

Presenter: If you are going to present a keynote, free communication or poster at the IATSO conference, no matter if on-site or virtually, you can find all information here. Since free communications and posters will be prerecordings, we would kindly ask you to check deadlines for submission as soon as your contribution got accepted.

Awards: The IATSO awards the IATSO Lifetime Significant Achievement Award as well as the IATSO Early Career Award at every IATSO Conference. Details about the procedure and ceremony can be found here.

Ticketing on-site and virtual

Whether you take part virtually or in presence depends on your conference ticket. If you would like to change your current status from on-site to digital, you only need to inform us at iatso@office.org. In case you want to change a digital ticket into an on-site ticket, the day you contact us regarding the change counts as the registration date for the on-site ticket, as these tickets are given on a first-come-first-served principle. Note, that due to the fast changing pandemic restrictions, we cannot guarantee an on-site participation. Therefore, you need to wait for confirmation from our office until you can plan your trip to Frankfurt, Germany.

Credits of professional training

The 16th IATSO Conference “Current Developments in Etiology, Assessment, and Prevention of Sexual Offending” has been accredited (ID 710026) by the Austrian Medical Chamber with 22 CPD credits. Since IATSO is officially registered in Vienna and the conference takes place virtually in any case, we have applied for CPD approval by the Austrian Medical Chamber. This credits are usually recognized by any other chamber.
