Dear Joseph, what instrument did you use to measure hypersexuality? Have you included sexual preference related variables in any of your models? Thanks for a great talk! Renata
Hi Rénata,
thank you for the interest in my talk! Hypersexuality was indicated by the means of two questionnaires. One assesses sexual preoccupation, the other one sex drive. There is a slide in my the video where you can find the citations.
Unfortunately, no measure of sexual preferences were included, which would have been a great addition to the original model since it may be reasonable to differentiate between sexual preferences/interests and (aggressive) sexual fantasies. I am currently working on a paper where I assessed both constructs separately.
Hope that was helpful to you! Have a great day
Thank you. I am looking forward to your paper! 🙂 Best, Renata
